Universal Principles Explained

What is this understanding that is generating change?

How Principles Work

There are Principles for understanding how the mind works that represent a paradigm shift for humanity.

They clear up misunderstandings many of us have about where our experience is coming from and our true nature.

This clarity enables insight.

Principles are by definition explanatory with no exceptions.

These principles are universal, constant and timeless. And have been alluded to by human beings since time immemorial.

Real Change

When people have insight into these principles for themselves it creates real and sustainable change in all walks of life. For stories of change.

Here is a simple description of the principles but if you are looking to be impacted by the truth of them – your own insight is more likely to come to you in your own words as you engage with and reflect on the materials available on this site.

Please see the Resources Page

Thought

The capacity to create form from formless energy. We follow our thoughts to navigate life - we think.

Mind

The intelligent, animating energy of ALL creation, both formless and in form – we are alive.

Consciousness

The awareness of the process of creation and the gift that allows us to see creation - we are aware (that we think and are alive).

Disclaimer: Intellectually understanding these principles as concepts Is not significant or meaningful for real change.
Personal insight or an ‘a-ha’ feeling is what creates real change – for that we suggest further inquiry (link to resources)

Here is a paper that gives a little more information

These principles were perceived and articulated by Sydney Banks in the mid-70’s as universal principles (just like the principle of gravity was first articulated by but not invented by Isaac Newton).

As a field they have been called by different names:

Psychology of Mind, Health Realization, Innate Health, Innate Resilience, Inside-Out paradigm, State of Mind, Insight Principles, Understanding of the Mind - but they are most commonly referred to as:

The Three Principles
